Good Idea for those who have a Tom Tom GPS and will be taking it to South Africa with them. Got the word from Heather the other day that this sale is on,
I ended up buying the Southern Africa one that includes Lesotho, Mozambique, Swaziland etc for about $20 extra
I am hiring a Car for 14 days, all up $660 this GPS addition will be well worth it I say

I've never hired a car overseas before but assumed they came with a GPS unit?
Which company have you hired the car through mate?

Hired a Car through, AutoEurope http://www.autoeurope.com/
They are like a broker and the confirmation we got said that it was through Hertz. It costs extra for GPS in Car Hire, We ended up getting the Map loaded to our unit anyway.
