saw this on fox sports website, thought you may know something of this player - any good?

The World Game also reported that the Heart are set to announce the recruitment of Dutch midfielder Rutger Worm from Dutch first division side NEC Nijmegen.

He's a Nijmegen local who has played with them through their Youth set-up. He's only 24 ish too, From what I have seen could be a good acquisition.

The best goal I have seen him score is this one

I've seen him play a few times, he's ok probably be a fairly good a league player, He's a fairly popular player, quick and can score a good goal but in saying that is capable of missing sitters as well. I'll ask a mate who knows him quite well and post the goss then. Oh I'm pretty sure it will be a free transfer as he is of contract at seasons end.

You must admit it was a fairly handy Goal. Hope the Heart didn't sign him on the basis of that though

Rutger Worm at the end of the current season will head to Melbourne Heart. The striker of NEC according to Reuters has signed a 2 year contract with the club coach John van 't Schip.

The 24-year-old worm made by NEC in 2004 his debut in professional football. Since then he played 105 league games for the Nijmegen Egyptians, mainly as a substitute. The striker has scored five times.

"It seems a fantastic experience," says Worm against the newspaper. "I wanted something different. Australia is a beautiful country, a sports country also. That appeals to me." He leaves in June.

Worm in Melbourne is part of the first team of the club that was founded last year. Next season the club makes its debut in the Australian A-League.

Worm has a great name and he is a good age.
I have never seen him play, but scoring 5 times as a striker in 105 games in a little concerning. According to NEC, Holman is very good player. Didn't they sell him to AZ for a couple of million? If he isn't good enough starting spot over Holman I am a little worried.
