Are there any Aussies out there keen on a trip of a lifetime?
Well, Babel Travel has linked up with Nomads Tours of South Africa to produce an exciting World Cup tour.
http://www.babeltravel.com/site/html/tours/en/Africa/southafrica.php
We still have a few spots left on both of our World Cup tours if anyone interested?
1630 EUROS (or 2600 AUD) for a 17 day trip is very good value. Alternatively, there's a 14 day trip that starts in Durban on June 12th. This is priced at 1495 EUROS.
Our partners in South Africa, Nomad Tours is also operating the official FFA tour. But, the best thing is for our clients, is that our trip is more than half the price of theirs! The Green and Gold Army and The Fanatics have trips that are also more than double our prices.
Please let me know if you're keen.
Cheerio,
Big Kev

How are you guys planning to get from city to city Tez, are you hiring a couple of cars?
That's the main thing I have left to organise, have a flight from Durban to Jo'berg on the 17th but need to decide how I'm going to get to Rustenburg from there, then over to Nelspruit, then back to Jo'berg to fly home. There's several coach companies available if my mate and I wuss out and decide not to drive.

We have hired cars Dom, in Durban from 11-15 then J'Burg from 15-29. Our accom is north of Pretoria and then North of Nelspruit. There are 8 of us in 3 cars at $50 a day per car.
Our group is CB, MK, Me and our wives and some friends of MK.

Thanks for the info Tez.
I might even mention on GGArmy that I'll be travelling Jo'berg to Rustenburg on the 17th and see if any others are keen to jump in our car or form a convoy. Fair chance of other Aussies being on our flight out of Durban at that stage.
How far north of Nelspruit is your entourage staying Tez, close enough to have a kickoff knees up on the 22nd or the 24th? Would be good if the usual suspects could meet for a drink at some stage on tour.

Mate, we are about 230km north, but we are staying o/night in Nelspruit after the game, going back up on the 24th. Would be easier in Durban I think. We are there from 11-15, so I am sure we could catch up then
